Riverside Behavioral Health Center located in Hampton, Virginia is seeking a Director of Admissions and Care Management to join our team!

Riverside Behavioral Health Center offers the most comprehensive range of behavioral health programs on the Virginia Peninsula. An established mental health care provider in Hampton Roads since 1983,  Riverside Behavioral Health Center provides psychiatric and chemical dependency services to children, adolescents and adults on an outpatient and inpatient basis. We offer a variety of services such as Inpatient Adult Services, Inpatient Child and Adolescent Services, Adolescent Residential Services and Outpatient Services, to individuals who experience emotional, psychological and behavioral problems. Individual, family and group therapy, recreation therapy, art therapy, life skills groups, and medication management are key components of the programs we provide. 

 Job Summary: Works under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, Clinical Services. Responsible for: 1. Supervision of Case Management/Utilization Review Department/Transportation. 2. Completes Appeals and Retrospective review process. 3. Co-Chairman of UR/CM committee. 4. Provides support to Meditech. 5. Physicians peer review process. 6. Supervision of Admission, care Management & Court Services. Responsible for the 24 hour operations of the Admissions Department/ED Technicians.

Educational Requirements: Degree from an accredited school applicable to the required licensure (see below).

Certification/Licensure Requirements: Current licensure in good standing as Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor required with the Virginia Board of Health Professions.

Experience Requirements: Psychiatric experience required. Working knowledge of psychological issues, addictionology, reimbursement climate, treatment planning process, and expectations of payers for inpatient and residential services.
