Riverside Medical Group is seeking a Regional Director of Physician Services and Operations for our Northern Neck and Tappahannock region. 

Riverside Medical Group has over 500 providers and we are continuing to grow! One of the largest and most diverse multi-specialty group practices in the state of Virginia, our physicians are linked by an electronic medical record system that is leading the nation, now able to provide fast access to quality medical care for our 485,000 patients by interconnecting 500+ providers in 132 locations across all of the Riverside regions.  

The Tappahannock/Northern Neck region has 6 specialty practices, 4 primary care practices, and 1 urgent care center. Tappahannock is a wonderful small town located on the banks of the Rappahannock River. There is a relaxing, laid-back feel to the town and its close proximity to water means that leisure activities are usually centered around "the river." There are marinas and public launch sites for boating and fishing as well as public parks to enjoy the water. Downtown Tappahannock also offers local shops and restaurants with a feel that is unique to this region.  

Job Summary: Responsible for providing overall leadership, growth, marketing, administration and performance of all aspects of RMG practices and Revenue Cycle operations to ensure accomplishment of strategic objectives and goals. Responsible for operational direction of surgical services department to meet strategic objectives to included surgical volume growth, surgeon and staff satisfaction, patient satisfaction and cost management. This position oversees 6 managers and works with approximately 20 providers. 

Education: Bachelors Degree or Masters preferred. Five years of high level management experience will be considered as a substitution for education.

Experience: Five years healthcare finance/hospital operations/practice management or other related experience required.
