Job Summary: Works under the supervision of the Business Director and System Director of Perioperative Services. The quality analyst serves as a statistical expert and analyst to support quality reporting throughout Perioperative Services. Evaluates data in the Quality, Process Improvement, and Satisfaction arenas. This position will collect data from multiple sources, aggregate the data, analyze the data, and present the data in a usable format for presentation throughout Riverside Health System. Knowledge of data analysis techniques, including data collection, data aggregation, and alternate data display techniques. Must possess knowledge and ability to test validity and reliability of data. This position will provide support to include electronic quality tools, personal interaction related to safety, service, research, and leadership. The analyst also serves as the equipment expert for Perioperative Services. Responsible for maintaining an accurate database of equipment, vendors, service contracts, and repair requests. Participates as a key member of the Surgical Services Value Analysis Committee.  

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associate or Bachelor's degree from accredited program closely related to healthcare or data analytics preferred

Certification: Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.

Experience: Three years of healthcare experience required. Knowledge of data management and statistical tools. Ability to compile and interpret statistical data. Working knowledge of personal computer and software applications used in job functions (word processing, excel, graphics, databases).
