We are seeking dynamic Emergency Department Technicians to join our team at Riverside Regional Medical Center!

The Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) is responsible for providing assistance to the ED/Trauma physicians and RN in the delivery of patient care to include invasive and non-invasive procedures: EKG's, IVs, phlebotomy. All ED Techs will fill in as the monitor tech as needed.

EDUCATION: Successful completion of Paramedic or EMT-I Training Course. Equivalent training and experience will be acceptable in lieu of this training course (see Certification & Licensure section).

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE: Virginia or National Registry EMT-I (Intermediate) or EMT-P (Paramedic), or EMT-A (Advanced) required. Current CPR and ACLS certification required upon hire. Equivalent experience may be acceptable in lieu of EMT certification (e.g., military experience as a medical technician or corpsmen).

EXPERIENCE: One year of field experience preferred.
