JOB SUMMARY: The Cath Interventional Specialist performs a variety of duties related to cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and neuro radiology procedures. Coordinates procedure specific patient care based on the age, physiological, psychosocial, and cultural diversity needs of the patient. As a cardiovascular team member, is responsible for delivering a comprehensive range of services and clinical care tasks associated with and in accordance with the standards of excellence established by Riverside Health System policy and procedures.  

EDUCATION:  Graduate of ARRT approved school or program



  • Must be registered in one of the following: Registered Radiologic Tech (ARRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Tech.  
  • Specialty certification (RCIS, RCES) in field highly encouraged.
  • CPR/BLS required. Must have or obtain ACLS within 18 months
