Job Summary: Responsible for all charge entry, accounts receivable follow up, payment posting, insurance verification and authorization. Responsible for customer accounts in Medipak as well as centricity practice management. Responsible for keeping up to date with CPT, ICD-9, HCPCS coding. Performs a variety of clerical duties that support front desk operations and Rehab Dept access for customers.  Functioning as a team member, the staff is flexible in the work assignments, rotates to support all aligned rehab services facilities when needed and assists with training. Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of equipment and departmental supplies required to support quality patient care and operations.  Responsible for necessary quality control performance and documentation that supports accreditation initiatives. Maintains medical imaging credentials as defined by the Qualification requirements policy of Imaging services. Complies with National Patient Safety Goals, HIPAA guidelines, and Corporate Compliance polices.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma or equivalent required and 1+ years' experience in business office setting preferred or College Degree accepted in lieu of experience.
