Riverside Doctors' Hospital is seeking a full time HIMS Analyst to join the team. 

Job Summary: The HIMS Analyst is responsible for all aspects of HIMS including interaction with patients, the general public, communication with the physicians in the Riverside network, and contact with the general hospital staff. Reviews and analyzes the electronic medical records for completeness and accuracy following departmental and regulatory guidelines. Assists physicians in completing medical records and trains and assists physicians in use of electronic clinical applications for chart completion. Supports patient care and other hospital functions ensuring dictated reports are transcribed, edited and routed correctly within the time frames defined in the Rules and Regulations of the Medical Staff.

Education: High School Diploma/GED required. College degree in HIM related field preferred.

Certification: Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) preferred.

Experience: Two years' experience in acute care HIM department or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or actively enrolled in a college HIM program is acceptable in lieu of 2 years' experience.

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm with rotating weekends.
