Brentwood Pediatrics Clinic is seeking an Office Manager to join our team!
Job Summary: Works with the supervision of the practice director. Responsible for the daily activities of the practice and the planning for the business plan based on practice analysis of data. Responsible for the scheduling of staff and coverage for vacancies due to: illness, vacation and other scheduled and un-scheduled absences. Maintains current knowledge of revenue cycle and internal financial controls, management of patient/provider schedules and efficient, customer-friendly practices of the office. Conducts interviews and hires to fill open positions. Coordinates the orientation of new employees and assists with new provider onboarding. Verifies competence of office employees and orientation/cross training of staff. Other duties as assigned including but not limited to the ability to fill most positions in the event of vacancies and to assist with office efficiency.
About Brentwood Pediatrics Clinic: We are a different kind of health care center because we are also a residency program. We have board-certified faculty physicians overseeing recently graduated physicians, who are training to become board-certified in family medicine or obstetrics and gynecology (Ob-Gyn). These faculty physicians have devoted their careers to obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics or family medicine. Residents do a rotation through the pediatrics center while in the family medicine residency program.
Education: College degree is preferred. Graduate of a professional nursing program is preferred.
Licensure/Certifications: CPC is preferred. RN preferred.
Experience: Prior experience managing a physician's office is strongly preferred. Prior experience working with medical residents is preferred.
