Job Summary: Develops and provides training to all areas of Revenue Cycle. Develops and maintains training manuals, computer based learning modules, webinars, and reference guides, consistent with Revenue Cycle policies. Responsibilities include working directly with team members to streamline processes, identify training needs and ensure consistent information is shared. Ability to direct, coach and train employees and implement process changes as needed to ensure that quality assurance standards are met. Teach or coordinate monthly in-service sessions for new and established employees. Possesses the ability to understand and analyze system functionality and clerical processes and adapt them to a highly integrated process flow. A strong understanding of revenue cycle operations in the following functional areas: Patient Access, Insurance Verification, Scheduling, Patient Accounting and Health Information Management; A strong collaborative team member approach and the ability to participate on multiple concurrent initiatives. Demonstrated ability to facilitate team or group activities and demonstrated leadership qualities including professional verbal and written communication skills, prioritize workload, decision-making skills, and participation in professional organizations. Ability to train staff on new technologies and processes, and to analyze workflow for process improvement.

Education/Experience: High School Diploma Required and 2+ years' experience in Revenue Cycle required. College Degree accepted in lieu of experience.

Certification: Revenue Cycle Specific Certification preferred (Example: CHAA – Certified Healthcare Access Associate or CPAT – Certified Patient Accounting Technician)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 9:00am-6:00pm
