Riverside Health System is seeking a full time Business Office Associate.
Job Summary: Works under the department Sleep Supervisor and Program Director. Effectively utilizes all department specific computer systems to include iCare, Net Learning and Kronos. This position requires initiative, independent judgment and multi-tasking skills. Functioning as a team member, the staff is flexible in their work assignments, rotates to support needs of the business office. Must utilize and adhere to established policies and protocols to perform a variety of procedures and at a level not requiring constant supervision of detail. Required to prep all sleep charts, call all sleep patients with their appointment reminders, schedule all sleep studies in the appropriate iCare resource schedule. Responsible for scanning completed sleep studies into iCare. Works closely with Sleep Supervisor in maintaining tracking and QA spreadsheets. Complies with National Patient Safety Goals, HIPAA guidelines, and Corporate Compliance polices. Participates in quality and customer service programs, meets all CBL requirements, attends staff meetings and maintains meeting minutes.
Education: High School Education with clerical background preferred.
Experience: Previous medical office experience preferred. Medical terminology, computer experience, and typing ability preferred. Ability-use Microsoft Office and other software necessary for position.
