Job Summary: Works under the direct supervision of the Cardiovascular Operations Manager and Clinical Coordinator. Coordinates scheduling of Cardiovascular (CVIR) Procedures with office practice schedulers and physicians using appropriate guidelines and regulations to ensure smooth flow of procedural operations for the multi specialties in the department. Assists in procedural data entry for time management and benchmark reporting. Supports the educational needs of new team members associated with the procedural scheduling.
Education: Some college courses preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two years experience preferred with surgical scheduling. Experience with Microsoft and Excel programs required. Knowledge of personal administration , economics and legislation. Knowledge of regulations, policies, procedures, accreditation standards highly preferred.
