Job Summary: Administers federal, state, institutional, and other external sources of financial aid; packages financial aid; advises students and parents; monitors institutional compliance; interprets and applies a broad range of regulations and policies. Protects institutional eligibility for Title IV & VA funds. Responsible for the development of financial aid publications and correspondence. Promotes private scholarship sources and actively seeks new sources of financial aid for students. Manages scholarship opportunities and events and works closely with the Riverside Foundation and the donors. Researches, develops, implements the Net Price calculators, student budgets, and median loan debt data. Implements debt management initiatives based on cohort default rates. Meets gainful employment reporting deadlines. Reconciles disbursements. Promotes a positive public image of the college through providing excellent customer service. Promotes a team-oriented student-centered environment. Actively leads or participates in meetings, projects, and PI initiatives. Prepares IPEDS reports and submits program/accreditation/other changes to the Department of Education's ECAR and/or PPA, and RCHC statistical reports as necessary. Routinely checks the accuracy of published data posted in application packets/promotional material and the college's website and notifies Manager of needed revisions to either. Provides oversight of Financial Aid Coordinator(s) to ensure accuracy and consistency of policy and practice relating to Financial Aid functions. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager.

Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting or related field required.

Certification/Licensure Requirements: Membership to a professional organization such as VASFAA or NASFAA preferred.

Experience Requirements: 3 years of Title IV financial aid experience required. Extensive knowledge of aid programs, compliance issues, policy development, and financial counseling is required. Familiarity with an integrated student information database is an asset.
