Riverside Tappahannock Hospital in Tappahannock, VA is currently seeking a labor pool RAD/CT Tech.

JOB SUMMARY: Works within their defined skill sets and utilizes established policies and protocols to perform a variety of imaging procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Routinely responsible for all aspects of medical imaging in two or more identified modalities (Diagnostic Imaging and CT).  Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of equipment, instrumentation and departmental supplies required to support quality patient care. Responsible for necessary quality control performance and documentation that supports accreditation initiatives. Ability to perform Imaging exams both invasive and non-invasive. Require precise motor skills, hand/eye coordination, and the ability to speak clearly. Must be able to input data, answer the telephone, and utilize computer systems.

EDUCATION: Graduate of ARRT approved school or program required.

LICENSURE: Must be ARRT registered in at least one (1) modality. Registry in additional assigned modality highly preferred. Modalities include Diagnostic, CT, MR, US, Nuc Med and PET. CPR required.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year experience in dual applicable modalities preferred. Ability to function in at least two (2) modalities.
