Riverside Health System is seeking a Leave Program Administrator to join our team!
Job Summary: Works under the supervision of the Total Rewards System Director and indirect supervision by Benefits Manager. Coordinates and administers leave management program to include Family Medical Leave, Medical Leave of Absence and return-to-work with non-occupational injuries or illness ensuring compliance with Riverside Health system policies and federal and state leave regulations, with a focus on integrated leave management. Provides instruction, guidance and excellent customer service to employees, managers and human resources professionals regarding the various leave of absence policies, interactive dialog process, and return to work efforts. Continuously improve overall process efficiency and accuracy. Develop procedures and ensure they are followed consistently for regulatory requirements. Medical leave request tracking system must be accurately maintained to ensure confidence in data and reporting to meet regulatory requirements. This role will be responsible for accurate timekeeping for employees on a FMLA approved leave and ensure any paid leave benefits are applied per RHS policies. Collaborate and consult with disability vendor, leadership, leave management team, legal and regional occupational health nurses and HR Business Partners. Advises employee and leader of HR compliance requirements regarding paid leave benefits, FMLA, ADA and disability processes, policies and laws. Builds effective plans to mitigate risk by analyzing FMLA, disability data trends and compliance. Demonstrates empathy and adheres to HIPAA and regulatory requirements. Demonstrates strong computer and communication skills. Demonstrates expertise in leave management by obtaining and maintaining certification as Leave Management Specialist is required within one year of employment.
Education: Bachelors Degree in Human Resource Management or similar field of study required. Will accept 5 years of leave management experience in lieu of degree. Leave Management Specialist certification within 12 months of employment is required.
Experience/Skills: 3-5 years HR experience required. Prefer 2 years working with disability, FMLA, ADA, workers comp case management. Strong computer skills to include: intermediate excel skills, microsoft word, timekeeping systems, HRIS system, reporting and data analysis skills using computer software.
Hours: Fulltime, Monday - Friday. Primarily 8-5pm
