Job Summary: Manages telephone switch board 24 hours a day 7 days per week to provide our physicians and Community access to RHS services. Facilitates all inbound and outbound calls supported by the Communications Department. Services include: facilitating timely Emergent Life Threatening Code Calls, paging providers, Physician Line, main operator line, directory, patient information, and Caring Connection. Consistently executes standardized protocols which includes a warm transfer when paging a physician for a patient's concern. Effectively utilizes multiple computer and telephone software. Up fronts Inbound Calls in Assigned Service Queue for RHS Health Communications Department.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or GED required and 1 year experience in a call center, customer service, or patient care environment. Basic data entry/computer skills & typing skills required.
Certification: Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) Call Center/Health Care or Comparable Certification or Education preferred.
Hours: Majority hours between 10:00am - 10:00pm and every other weekend
