Job Summary: The office assistant/phone operator for the PCP Call Center is responsible for answering calls and scheduling appointments in Icare for 15 Primary Care sites. Sends thorough in-basket messages to the appropriate pool in Icare. Must be able to handle a fast paced environment.
Education: High school diploma with emphasis on clerical courses or equivalent preferred.
Experience: Experience in a doctor's office preferably, some knowledge of coding, insurance, EPIC scheduling, medical terminology and typing at least 45wpm helpful.
Hours: Monday-Friday; Days (on an as needed basis).
