The Regional Director for RMG Physician Services and Operations works under the direct supervision of the RHS CHN (Community Health Network) Regional Lead, in concert with the Regional Medical Director and in collaboration with RMG and RHS leadership to define and achieve short and long term strategic, operational and financial goals for the integrated services within the CHN region. Assists the CHN regional lead to strategically evaluate market needs for physician services that ensure financial success of the geography, including assessments of employment versus affiliate models, telehealth options, and other physician service partnerships. Prepares business cases, pro formas, and other market analysis to support recommendations. Works with recruitment and marketing departments to develop and implement appropriate strategies to achieve stated goals. Participates in recruitment activities and ensures contract offers are consistent and compliant. Ensures onboarding actions are completed in a timely manner based on employment start dates. Develops strong relationships with key community partners and champions Riverside initiatives to gain market share.
The CHN director collaborates with service line administrators to ensure specialty alignment across all regions. Participates in specialty collaboratives and committees as needed to ensure quality and outcomes standards and protocols are implemented appropriately. The CHN director has operational responsibility for the RMG practices in the region. The director will ensure compliance with RMG divisional and RHS corporate policies, procedures and standards. Collaboratively develops local policy and procedures to standardize performance and meet operational metrics in all practices. Analyzes critical data and information to evaluate programs and investments. Identifies opportunities and implements programs to increase new patient capture and retention and reduce operating costs through efficiency. Works with other system leaders and departments to implement innovative technologies and new programs. Collaborates with other practice directors to ensure consistency in performance, patient experience and program sustainability to increase and enhance RMG/RHS brand awareness. Ensures compliance with provider based standards in specialty offices.
The Director works to champion health system strategies and policies and build collaboration and buy-in among providers and team members. Develops and implements communication strategies to ensure providers and team members are informed of initiatives, opportunities, and critical messages from the division and health system. Supports and models the Riverside Care Difference to ensure the safety of the care environment, the quality of services provided, and a patient experience that responds to consumer and industry demand and changes. Identifies opportunities through quality and safety data trends to improve processes.
The Director offers leadership and guidance to managers under his or her supervision. Effectively delegates responsibilities and duties. Achieves a collaborative work environment.
Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field is required; Master's degree is preferred.
Experience: Five or more years of successful experience in medical practice management or related field is required.
