Provides initial contact with patients/visitors and creates an attitude of service in the process of accurate registration. Answers telephones. Remains calm and professional in emergency situations. Creates a hospital account and verifies patient information. Performs other duties as assigned. A High School graduate, preferably with two years of related medical experience. Must be familiar with computer operations. Always maintain the strictest confidentiality. Possesses qualities of flexibility, accuracy, initiative and productivity. Must demonstrate an ability to work as a team player in a moderately stressful environment.
