GED or High School Diploma required
To perform routine cleaning and disinfection of dialysis equipment. To monitor patients during treatment under the direction of a Registered Nurse. To maintain and update patient records in a timely, orderly manner. To maintain supply inventories. To assist the staff by performing clerical duties. To acknowledge customers upon arrival to unit and to demonstrate enthusiastic friendly approach.
Education: Graduate of an accredited high school or GED equivalency examination.
Experience: Previous secretarial experience desirable. Previous dialysis experience desirable.
Licensure/Certification: Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.

Knowledge/Skills: Knowledge of clerical procedures and medical terminology. Skill in maintaining patient care record. Ability to file and maintain patient records, files and reports. Ability to report changes in the patient's condition to the professional nurse. Knowledge of organizational policies and procedures to administer patient care. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precautions to establish a safe work environment. Skill in English grammar and spelling. Neat, legible handwriting. Excellent communication skills . Ability to use office equipment, such as multi-line telephones, computer terminals and printers.
