Job Summary – Manages the day to day operation of the front-end revenue cycle for both outpatient & emergency room services. This includes scheduling, pre-arrival, all registration points, and other duties as assigned.
Education – Requires an associates degree or higher and at least two years of supervisory experience or five years of experience in patient access.
q Have knowledge of pc, calculator, and other general office equipment experience.
q Prior experience of customer/guest relations.
q Excellent interpersonal and telephone communication skills.
q Knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and HMO insurance plans and their regulations.
q Knowledge of the collection laws.
q Good organization skills.
