Reporting to the Food Service Supervisor, Basement Bistro prepares and serves foods to patients, employees and guests of the Health System in accordance with departmental and regulatory agency guidelines.  Assists guests at cash register. Properly cleans, sanitizes and maintains service, preparation, and delivery areas and equipment in accordance with regulatory guidelines. High School graduate or equivalent preferred or currently enrolled.  Must be able to read, write, perform basic calculations and have demonstrated maturity to work with customers and healthcare professionals. Foodservice experience preferred. Must maintain a friendly and cheerful demeanor at all times reflecting the culture we promote. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Ability to use automated cash register and compute accurately.
