Utilizing the Nursing Process (Assessment, Planning, Nursing Diagnosis, Implementation and Evaluation) provides and documents professional nursing care to assigned patient population in accordance with the medical plan of care, critical pathways, established SRH and Nursing Policies/Procedures/Protocols and Standards of Care. Works with the Schools of Nursing to include serving as adjunct faculty and/or clinical instructor. Works coordinating the care with other professionals and ancillary personnel. Serves as the expert teacher/resource for assigned units/departments. Provides unit/department specific as well as Nursing/SRH wide educational offerings.
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in SC. Masters degree in nursing from an accredited program in clinical speciality. Minimum of 4 years experience with two years in area of specialization. Demonstrated clinical competence and in-depth knowledge in speciality area. Certification in area of speciality preferred.
