- High School Diploma/GED required
Performs Front Desk responsibilities including daily schedule, office visits and testing schedules. Verifies current and accurate patient demographics and upgrades information in system. Obtains valid insurance information and scans cards into the computer system. Verifies and records necessary referrals and authorization information. Collects insurance deductibles, co-pays or self payments for services rendered, records on daily data sheet and prepares billing packages. Prepare paperwork for new patients files. Greets patients and families in a professional, polite, courteous manner and provides assistance a needed. Answers telephones, screens and direct calls appropriately. Relays accurate messages to staff and MD's.
