    Job Summary: Serves dinning room waitress style in a professional, courteous manner while correctly identifying every patient and maintaining patient confidentiality. Maintains the sanitation of patient rooms and common areas. Communicates relevant information to clinical staff, delivers nourishment's to patients as ordered, maintains floor stock on each unit, and use spoken menu's for patient orders. Washes dishes. Sets up and clears dining area.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Basic knowledge of diet therapy. Must have effective interpersonal and communication skills. Able to follow standards of Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and of regulatory agencies for sanitation, food preparation, and customer satisfaction.

    Education: Able to read, write, and communicate fluently in English. Current students considered.

    Experience: Previous experience in Environmental Services, Food Service, Nursing Assistant, or Waitress/Waiter is preferred.

    License/Certification/Registration: CPR Certification and Hospitality Associate training.

    Physical Requirements and Working Conditions: Work is performed indoors. Requires travel throughout the facility. Requires full range of motion including the ability to stand, bend, kneel, stretch, reach, lift, and carry up 50 pounds. Requires manual dexterity, eye-hand coordination, visual and auditory acuity to normal ranges. Work is stressful at times. Some exposure to microwave or similar electrical fields. May be exposed to communicable diseases and /or body fluids.
