We are looking for someone with excellent customer service skills for our busy hospital and nursing home switchboard.
Description of Duties: This person will be expected to answer telephone calls for the main switchboard with accuracy and alertness. They will be supplying relevant information to callers and maintaining records essential to the department. Additionally, you will perform various clerical duties, tend to an information window, paging as necessary and assist with Information Service Help Desk . You should be able to remain calm in an emergency situation, have a pleasant sounding voice and be fluent in English.
This job will require working various shifts which may include days, evening and over night with some hours falling on weekends or Holidays.
Qualifications: High School Graduate. One year of telephone work experience as a receptionist, call center associate or telephone operator. Applicant must possess typing and computer skills.
