The Case Management Assistant II effectively maintains the Standards of Practice under the direction of the professional staff; interacts with others in a respectful and courteous manner. Provides secretarial support to assist the department and organization in its daily activities, such as communicating with payors via phone and/or fax; maintains staffing schedule.; answers phones in a professional manner and takes messages/directs calls as appropriate, utilizes fax and photocopier as needed, orders and maintains all supplies for the department; and maintains the filing system within the department. Participates in staff meetings, educational programs, committees, QI activities and mandatory inservices. Assists the unit director with gathering performance improvement data. Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook required. 1 year previous office experience preferred.
