Works under the supervision of the Facility Manager. The Service Representative’s primary job function is to perform the duties necessary to meet the member’s needs as well as the operating needs of the Wheelersburg and Lucasville LIFE Center. This will include front desk, fitness floor, and facility and equipment cleaning duties.
GED/High School Diploma required
BLS required AED required
Six months experience customer service experience. Computer and/or database experience preferred. Previous experience in a fitness setting desired.
D. Interpersonal Skills
Strong communication skills. Must be self-motivated and able to work alone.
E. Essential Technical/Motor Skills
Ability to use hands for blood pressure measurements, pulse rate measurement, and simple typing.
F. Essential Physical Requirements
Ability to use all exercise equipment in Fitness area and lift 45 to 60 pounds occasionally.
G. Essential Mental Requirements
Analytical skills necessary for continuous public contact.
H. Essential Sensory Requirements
Ability to see, hear, and speak clearly is required.
I. Exposure to Hazards
Constant exposure to dust, odors, noise, and moving machinery.
