Works under the supervision of the Adm. Director of Social Work/Pastoral Care/Case Management. The Managed Care Clerk’s primary job functions are assuring that all managed care patient receive proper pre-certification/authorization prior to their appointment, tracking, and logging patient visits, and filing claims with third party payers. Also assists with assistance for social work staff. Performs other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED.
Three to six months medical office and computer experience preferred.
