Seeking team player, professional, and customer service oriented medical assistant or licensed practical nurse to perform general nursing care to patients under supervision, including, but not limited to: assisting with exams or procedures related to the department assigned, patient education and maintenance of medical records, medication administration, injections, bandaging and accurately collecting height, weight and BP. In addition, must be able to anticipate the needs of the physician and require minimal supervision. Individual chosen, must be willing to move from department to department as necessary at a moment’s notice working in either a clinical setting or could also function in a front office role where they primarily will schedule appointments, check patients in as well as out, take co-payments, and answer calls. Candidates must have high energy in order to handle very fast paced environment, must be proficient with their computer skills including EMR, must be highly organized with the ability to multi-task, and able to work with diverse patient base of all ages. Prior experience in an outpatient environment is preferred.
