Purpose of Job:
To provide world class customer service and assistance to Michigan Athletic Club members and guests entering the facility, acknowledging them by saying, ""hello"" and ""goodbye"", utilizing names, and demonstrating consistent behavior and staying informed in the daily business of the MAC.
Greet each member and guest as they arrive and depart. Accept ownership and responsibility for job duties. Maintain knowledge on current club programs. Schedule and reserve courts. Conduct sign-up for program registration. Conduct point of sale transactions on computer. Answer phones, and page staff, place calls into voicemail. Problem solve member/guest issues.
Must stand for the entirety of the shift (up to 5 hours). Previous customer service experience required. Must have the ability to multi-task and have a friendly disposition and the desire to work with people.
