|Ultrasonographer - Heart Center|
|Shift:||Day Shift and Call|
Performs 2-D, M-Mode, color, and spectral recordings of the heart documenting hemodynamic function by way of transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. Incorporates 2-D imaging to compliment stress testing by either treadmill or pharmacology to demonstrate left ventricular response to controlled stress for use by physicians in the diagnosis of cardiovascular disease.
Minimum Qualifications 1. Graduate of an accredited Ultrasonographer program. 2. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification 3. Current registry with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers, or registry eligible. 4. Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications 1. Two years of experience in cardiac ultrasound. 2. Six months of experience working with echo contrast. 3. Six months of experience performing stress echocardiography and pharmacological stress echocardiography. 4. Six months of experience performing electrocardiograms.
