Responsible for ensuring compliance with all federal and state guidelines and HSHS/hospital guidelines in regard to the employment of staff, competencies, employee health issues, wage and hour issues, payroll practices, worker’s compensation, colleague relations issues and other people related issues.
The successful candidate will demonstrate leadership skills that include strengths in accountability, staff development and communication, will have the ability to effectively able to implement change and has commitment to appropriate follow through and will establish and maintain systems and processes that function efficiently and effectively for customers by employing various LEAN techniques.
Bachelor’s degree required. Five years of progressively increasing experience in design, development and implementation of human resource functions, programs and administration. Some business orientation and experience desirable. PHR required within one year SPHR preferred.
