Schedule: Part Time 48 hrs per pay
Shift: Shift Varies
Hours: 530am-2pm and 10am-630pm
Job Details:

·         Prepare all food as planned on the menu for the patients and staff




·         Prepare all foods for the patients on special diets as planned




·         Follow standardized recipes in food preparation to ensure quality of foods prepared




·         Prepare the correct amounts of food as designated on the production sheets




·         Eliminate waste whenever possible




·         Check equipment and cooking area often to make sure sanitation and safety standards are maintained.  In any equipment needs repair, report this to the Manager




·         Clean work area and equipment




·         Assist in receiving food and checking-in deliveries of food and supplies




·         Maintain clean food storage room, refrigerators and freezers




·         Have food ready to serve by meal times




·         Take food temperatures and record them




·         Serve food on the tray line




·         Comply with federal, state and local regulations




·         Performs other related duties as assigned by the Director




Requirements: High school graduate or GED.  Experience in quantity food preparation preferred. Certification by the state in food sanitation preferred, if not, must be willing to take classes for certification. Must be able to do basic math calculations to convert recipes.  Must be able to work independently.
