Department: Dietetic Services
Schedule: On-Call
Hours: 7:00AM-3PM or 10AM to 6:30PM and every other weekend
Job Details: - High School/GED

To prepare all foods as assigned, following established recipes and procedures. 





Under the direction of the Executive Chef, and/or Manager, prepares entrees, salads, desserts and special items for food service in the nursing home and in SEH café’ as well as special events, following established recipes and procedures.  Must be attentive to food temperatures, portion control, weights and sanitation procedures.  Responsible for all department and station duties as assigned.





Language skills sufficient to follow oral and written directions required.

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Servsafe certification required.

Previous experience in food handling/production required.

Proven ability to work as part of a team.

Good attendance record.

Willing to be flexible with schedule to meet department needs.

Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 30 lb. and to push carts weighing up to 300 lb.
