Diagnostic Imaging department in Ayer, MA is looking for a Part Time Radiologic/CT Registered Technologist to join our team.  We are looking for someone who is professional, polite, dependable, punctual and is able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.  You must be a person who is organized and pays attention to details, be able to communicate well and be a team player, you must be able to work independently, efficiently and effectively

 

Job Summary:  Technologist will perform general radiographic examinations and CT scans as well as perform mobile x-ray and C-arms in the operating room, emergency room, Pain Clinic and on inpatient units. Technologist will assist Radiologist with special procedures and fluoroscopy. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining departmental standards in accordance with policies and procedures; assessing patient's information and status; demonstrating skill in equipment set-up, utilization and proper maintenance; operating information systems and PACS, plus all related job duties as assigned.   Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations responsible for performing routine to complex diagnostic procedures to ensure the production of quality images of all anatomical structures for interpretation by Radiologist.  Participates as a team member and is accountable and responsible for all work done.

 

Job Requirements:   Current MA Licensure; Current BLS certification; 2 years of related experience; Registered as a Radiologic Technologist and CT Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. 

 

Hours:  Monday 7:30a-4:00p; Friday 7:30a-4:00p; everyone other weekend 3:00pm-11:00pm; must be able to work other shifts as needed; holidays rotation required.
