Responsible to plan, direct and manage all aspects of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Services including Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy and Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation for the health system. Responsible for the delivery, evaluation and continuous improvement of clinical rehab therapy services and programs ensuring high quality, high service level and cost effective care. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the Director will establish the priorities and goals for Physical Medicine and Cardiac Rehab strategies and business planning.
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Speech Therapy required. Master's degree in business or health related filed preferred.
A minimum of four years of rehab services management experience.
Current license from the State of Illinois. Member of and active in a Professional Organization.
Demonstrated leadership and management skills. Excellent ability to lead, coach, train and facilitate individuals and multi-disciplinary teams. Good interpersonal skills and ability to effectively interact with patients, visitors, physicians and all levels of staff within the organization. Must be able to lead by influence. Strong verbal, written and presentation skills. Excellent computer, organizational, analytical, critical-thinking and conflict resolution skills required. High tendency to drive toward results and be action-oriented. Must be able to drive change as well as possess the ability to motivate others. Successful completion of annual clinical, age and job specific competencies and skill verification tools required.
