RN (Registered Nurse) in State of Illinois
Must be able to type 35 wpm or more
Triage incoming phone calls from clients, assessing their needs and relaying appropriate medical information and facilitating referrals to primary providers, specialists, healthcare facilities and community resources. Participates in continuous quality improvement activities and educational experiences in support of departmental and divisional nursing philosophy and objectives, as well as, Health System initiatives.
Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing program. At least two years of clinical experience in acute or ambulatory care.
Current RN licensure from the State of Illinois
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing in a enthusiastic, caring, considerate and concerned manner. Accurate typing skills at a minimum of 35 wpm is required. Superior nursing skills essential to the position. Strong telephone etiquette skills required.
