Position Summary: Performs the primary functions of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of all assigned patients in their department. Expected to serve as charge as assigned.
Qualifications: 2-year/Associate Degree in nursing. Currently licensed as an RN with the SC Board of Nursing. 1-3 years of experience required. Home care experience preferred. Computer skills required to include proficiency in using PtCT and Meditech systems. Must have knowledge of pain management. Must have reliable transportation to travel to and from patient homes. Must provide care in a variety of patient home settings and travel in various climate conditions.
Must have valid SC driver's license and auto insurance. Must have high level of confidentiality.
OSHA Category: Regularly exposed to risk of bloodborne diseases (Category I). May be exposed to chemical hazards on a regular basis (Category A).
Physical Requirements: Exert over 100 lbs. force occasionally, and/or 50 lbs. frequently, and/or 20 lbs. constantly. Prolonged standing, sitting, and walking. Perform repetitive tasks/motions. Must be able to distinguish colors.
