    • Job Summary
      • Under general supervision and following established procedures, acts as a clerk/cashier for the Gift Shop(s). Is responsible for the accurate and timely input of inventory and for inventory controls. Assists with buying, marketing and promotions; is responsible for buying personal products featured in the Celebrations! shop and for maintaining that vendor relationship. Trains part-time clerks and volunteers as needed. Does bra fitting.
    • Qualifications Required
      • Education:
        • Requires the ability to read, write, and calculate well enough to prepare and ring-up sales on a computerized cash register and charge terminal and to take inventory and produce reports. This level of general educational development is normally acquired through a high school education.
      • Licensure/Certification:
        • Bra fit certification or ability to attain certification within one year of hire.
      • Experience:
        • Two years experience in a retail setting is required. Experience must include working with an inventory control system and personal customer service.
      • Knowledge, skills, abilities:
        • Ability to deal effectively and courteously with employees, volunteers, visitors, and all other customers.
        • Ability to deal effectively and courteously with problem situations, following procedures as appropriate and to deal appropriately with security issues as necessary.
        • Computer data entry skills are required. Must be reliable, responsible and trustworthy.
    • Physical Demands
      • Primarily standing in shop or sitting behind a cash register. The ability to lift up to 50 lbs. ,climb ladders, bend, stoop etc in order to stock shelves, etc. Must be able to retrieve items from high shelves. Must be able to hear and speak clearly in order to communicate with patients, physicians, gift shop customers, etc.
