    • Job Summary
      • The Client Service Representative is the primary contact person to our outside laboratory accounts (clients). He/she is responsible for operating and maintaining the hospital vehicle; picking up, reviewing requests and transporting specimens to the laboratory; sorting, mailing and filing reports; and delivering reports and supplies to the client’s offices as needed. The Client Service Representative should foster a relationship with the clients. He/she should communicate problems, concerns or questions to outreach project coordinator - marketing representative, client services manager or client services coordinator and offer suggestions for improving services. This laboratory provides services for patients of all ages.
    • Qualifications Required
      • Education:
        • High school diploma or GED required. The ability to be able to read, write and adequately perform duties as listed in major areas of responsibility above.
      • Licensure/Certification:
        • N/A
      • Experience:
        • Phlebotomy skills preferred.
        • Laboratory background preferred
        • Past customer service experience is preferred.
      • Knowledge, skills, abilities:
        • *Substantial interpersonal and communication skills required to interact with hospital staff, physicians, and patients.
        • *Knowledge of terminal keyboard and multi-line phone system.
        • *Pleasant speaking voice.
    • Physical Demands
      • Ability to sit for extended periods of time. Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the department and hospital campus. Ability to reach with hands and arms. Sensory ability: sight to see computer screen; auditory to hear speech and understand speech in person and on the phone. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
