The Patient Registration Clerk is primarily responsible for patient registration. This includes, but not limited to, scheduling appointments; instructing and assisting clients with regard to completing paperwork and clinic procedures; answering and directing all phone calls; maintaining a professional and confidential working environment; assisting trained staff where needed and use of initiative, sound judgment and communication skills to enable efficient and effective use of the clinic and its resources.

Required Education/Required Training: High School Diploma or equivalent.

Required Experience: Minimum one year experience in an office setting, preferably medical office setting

Experience working with underserved or homeless populations preferred. * For correctional position-correctional experience- preferred but not required.
