The PC Hardware Technician will assist users in accessing and resolving computer or software related issues. The position requires configuring and installing desktop/laptop PC's, resolving hardware/software issues, troubleshooting connectivity issues, installing/updating software, performing backups, and ensuring user satisfaction. The Technician will open, track, document and close trouble tickets using service desk application and will identify, track and escalate severe issues and problems trends to upper tier support and/or management.
• College/Technical Degree or at least 5 years of relevant field service experience performing installations, training, and troubleshooting. Healthcare IT experience is desired.
• At least one Industry recognized Professional Certification such as Comptia A+/Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCP or equivalent.
