This position requires the knowledge and ability to organize and implement the recreational and social activities of the Assisted Living Residence and the Adult Day Care Center. This person takes the holistic approach (physical, social, mental, and spiritual) to planning the activity programs. This position also includes clerical duties to include but not limited to preparing the daily and monthly schedule of activities in the assisted living residence and planing the monthly schedule of activities in the adult day care center, assisting with the monthly newsletter, and scheduling volunteers for the program areas. This position involves working directly with the elderly and could encounter resident/participant verbal and physical lashing out behavior. The ability to lift 50 lbs. and to work various shifts in necessary. Comfortable office attire is necessary for this position.
BLS is required for any RN, LPN, PCT, Patient Transporter or other direct patient care provider. Emergency Department, Intensive Care Units, PACU, Medical Emergency Team and Anesthesia require ACLS. Pediatrics, SICU, Emergency Department and Medical Emergency Team also require PALS
