The Volunteer Services Manager will direct the provision of Volunteer Services in the hospital. Provides leadership for developing and motivating the volunteer staff to meet the needs of the departments. Responsible for cost effective management of the department, including budget, resource allocation, standards of behavior and adherence to all regulatory standards. The Volunteer Services Manager will seek out innovative ways to grow the number of active adult and junior volunteers and create new ways volunteers can assist the hospital facility and its patients.
Bachelors or an Associate degree preferred. Desire at least five years of experience in a Volunteer Program.
CPR is required for any RN, LPN, PCT, Patient Transporter or other direct patient care provider. Emergency Department, Intensive Care Units, PACU, Medical Emergency Team and Anesthesia require ACLS. Pediatrics, SICU, Emergency Department and Medical Emergency Team also require PALS.
