- Current Arkansas Nursing Licensure Required
- Education: Completion of an associate degree, diploma or baccalaureate degree program in nursing. Current licensure or temporary permit as a registered nurse in the state of Arkansas. Training and Experience: Knowledge of hospital and department policies and procedures, patient care procedures, ability to operate technical equipment as acquired through orientation. CPR training and other certifications as appropriate to clinical areas such as PALS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation, Diabetes Educator, etc. Knowledge of growth and development. Job Knowledge: Skill and proficiency in applying highly technical principles, techniques and concepts central to nursing skills in communication, priority setting, application of nursing process and collection and analysis of data are required. Responsible for assessing, analyzing, planning, coordinating, implementing and evaluating the care of patients. Performance of patient care duties and supervision of other care providers. Consideration is given in the provision of care for the age and developmental status of the patient. Collaborates and communicates with other healthcare providers.
