The Manager of Spiritual Care supports the Memorial Family of Services (MFOS) and is responsible for the supervision of the spiritual care team and the development of spiritual care to patients and their families, demonstrating competency in spiritual support and pastoral counseling with an emphasis on removing fear and promoting peace. The position has functional relationships with all service areas, including Hospice, Acute Care, and Physician Services.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education: Advanced degree in Theology, Divinity, Religious Studies, Pastoral Ministry or equivalent degree required.
Experience: One to three years of experience in pastoring and counseling families in grief preferred.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Membership and board certification with the Association of Professional Chaplains or Certified as CPE Supervisor. Current WA state driver's license and proof of insurance if applicable; BLS for HCP required.
Additional requirements: Cell phone for use during working hours, car for travel to and from home visits during shift if applicable.
