The Speech and Language Pathologist applies principles and techniques of speech therapy and language development; anatomy and physiology of the auditory and vocal mechanism; phonetics, speech and voice science and principles and techniques or aural habilitation/rehabilitation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of Speech and Language pathology required. Master's Degree in Speech and Language Pathology preferred.
Experience: Previous experience as a Speech Therapist in designated specialty preferred.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Licensed Speech and Language Pathology in the State of Washington. Affiliation with a national professional association recommended. Current WA state driver's license and proof of insurance if applicable; BLS for HCP required.
Additional requirements: Cell phone for use during working hours, car for travel to and from home visits during shift if applicable.
Level of Business Knowledge/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Able to identify and report abuse; Knowledge of growth and development principles.
