  • ROLE SUMMARY

    The Early Intervention Clinical Supervisor's role is to partner with the Program Supervisor of Early Intervention to support the Early Intervention staff and maintain fidelity to the model of Early Intervention. This role will join the supervisor team at Children's Village under the direction of the Child Health Services Manager to promote a seamless and collaborative service model for families and children birth to three years of age.

     

    Provider duties: Supports and fosters personalized patient care incorporating cultural, ethnic, religious, and/or age specific needs of the patient. Interprets data gathered in assessment and provides care appropriate to population specific needs. Performs evaluation and treatment as ordered by the physician and following Early Intervention program requirements, in a safe timely manner according to established protocol and practice guidelines. Assists in the referral and transition process when a patient requires additional services following discharge.

     

    Supervisory duties: Ensures established productivity and staffing levels are maintained. Instructs and coaches staff during treatment procedures and ensures clinical documentation standards and requirements are met through monthly chart audits. Provides supervision to therapy students/assistants when needed. Leads staff in quality improvement and strategic initiatives. Assists Department manager with the annual review process to ensure evaluations and clinical competencies are completed in a timely manner. Participates in hiring, interviewing, and disciplinary action in coordination with Department Manager. Provide provider reflective practice, coaching, and supervision for evidence-based parent/child engagement models

     

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

    Education: Master's Degree in related field or BSN

     

    Experience:  Minimum of 3 years in early intervention, supervisory experience required

     

    Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Degree commiserate with any of the provider types of Early Intervention (Education, Social Work, Speech and Language Pathology, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Nursing)
